Our client, a highly respected and super-fast growing financial planning firm, is seeking an ambitious Trainee Paraplanner to join its established team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their technical knowledge, gain professional qualifications and build a successful career within wealth management.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on training, mentorship from experienced team members and exposure to a wide range of financial planning areas including investments, pensions, retirement planning and estate planning.
This opportunity would suit someone currently working within financial services administration, IFA client services and looking to take the next step in their career as a Paraplanner.
The Opportunity
Working closely with Financial Planners and experienced Paraplanners, you will gain valuable experience across the full financial planning process while developing the skills required to progress into a fully qualified Paraplanner role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with client research and analysis
- Supporting cashflow modelling and financial planning reports
- Preparing client review documentation and meeting packs
- Gathering and maintaining client information
- Liaising with providers and investment platforms
- Assisting with suitability reports and recommendations
- Supporting Financial Planners with ongoing client reviews
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance

Candidate Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organisational skills
- A genuine interest in financial planning and wealth management
Desirable
- Existing experience within financial services, pensions, investments, mortgages
- Some progress towards the CII Diploma in Financial Planning
- Knowledge of financial planning processes and products
